FCA extends search for Bailey successor because of virus disruption

HM Treasury extends deadline for applications by one month, to 24 April

The search to find the next permanent head of the UK’s financial regulator has been extended due to disruption to the process caused by the coronavirus outbreak.

The deadline for submissions to apply for the role of chief executive at the Financial Conduct Authority has been postponed by one month, to 24 April, the Treasury has confirmed.
