FCA investigates UK fund manager over use of dealing commissions

JO Hambro Capital Management, the £30.4bn UK asset manager, is being investigated by the Financial Conduct Authority over whether it used dealing commissions to pay for certain services in the decade to 2016.

The UK regulator cracked down on the use of dealing commissions, or trading fees, in 2014. It banned the use of these fees to pay for certain services from banks, including corporate access and market data services.
