FCA fines JP Morgan International Bank £3.1m

US bank's wealth unit penalised for systems and control failings

The UK's financial regulator said on Thursday that it had fined a JPMorgan Chase wealth management unit £3.1m for control failings.

The Financial Conduct Authority said that the failings at JP Morgan International Bank Limited - which included not keeping client files up to date - continued for two years and were not fixed until the FCA brought them to the bank's attention.
