FCA leavers cite career progression as biggest reason for quitting, not pay overhaul

A lack of career progression is the biggest reason staff are leaving the Financial Conduct Authority, internal figures suggest, despite claims that a landmark pay overhaul was causing ructions at the regulator.

Amid the overhaul to pay and perks last year, 649 staff voluntarily left the City watchdog, according to a Freedom of Information Act request.
