FCA makes new board appointments

Former bankers set to become non-executive directors later this year, as regulator searches for a new CEO

The UK's Financial Conduct Authority has appointed two new non-executive directors to its board, as economist Amelia Fletcher and former investment banker Catherine Bradley step down.

Jeannette Lichner and Bernadette Conroy join the 11-strong board as the markets watchdog searches for a replacement for chief executive Andrew Bailey, who will become the next Bank of England governor.
