FCA mulls investigations panel overhaul

Firms are being asked whether the process for so-called skilled-person reviews needs to be updated

The Financial Conduct Authority is mulling an overhaul of how it runs its so-called skilled person panel of investigators, Financial News has learned.

A skilled-person review, also called an S166 investigation, is ordered by the City watchdog when it has concerns about a firm or wants more information on its behaviour.
