The UK's financial watchdog is mulling new rules for the country's peer-to-peer lenders, having identified a number of fresh concerns over the fast-growing market.

The Financial Conduct Authority said in a December 9 statement that it found evidence of "potential investor detriment" in the crowdfunding sector, which is used by people, businesses and other organisations to raise money online.
