FCA: No need for CMA investigation into market data costs

The Financial Conduct Authority said it does not currently plan to refer any part of the wholesale data market to the Competition and Markets Authority.

In an interim report into their investigation into data pricing, the regulator said there were “reasonable grounds to suspect” that there were factors at play restricting competition in the market but added it did not plan to involve the CMA.
