FCA presses ahead with plan to end bonuses as new pay deal revealed

Staff at the City watchdog will no longer be paid bonuses as it announces an overhaul to how its 4,000-strong workforce is rewarded.

After months of internal wrangling, the Financial Conduct Authority published sweeping changes to grading, pay structure and benefits on 1 March, pressing ahead with plans to axe the discretionary bonuses that had previously been paid to the vast majority of employees.
