FCA probes Wise boss Kristo Kärmann after tax default

Kristo Kärmann now faces a review from the UK markets regulator following an earlier penalty from HMRC

The Financial Conduct Authority has launched an investigation into Wise co-founder and CEOn Kristo Kärmann over his deliberate default on tax bills, the payments app said.

Kärmann deliberately defaulted on his tax affairs, receiving a penalty for doing so from HMRC in September.
