FCA pushes back against Unite’s union ultimatum

Bosses at the Financial Conduct Authority have pushed back against efforts by workplace union Unite to force it to recognise a request for its 4,200 workers to unionise.

Unite general secretary Sharon Graham threatened legal action against the markets watchdog in early November if it did not respond to a request for trade union recognition for its workforce by 17 November.
