The Financial Conduct Authority has reaffirmed that it will deliver its final verdict on the UK asset management sector later this month, despite mounting speculation that the watchdog’s eagerly-awaited study will be delayed until later this year.
The UK regulator, which in November unveiled a damning 200-page interim report on the country’s £7tn asset management sector, reiterated that fund managers can expect the final report to land by the end of June.
