FCA suggests continued support for customers facing difficulties due to Covid-19

The regulator said that any extension to payment deferrals should not impact a customer's credit score

The Financial Conduct Authority has put forward proposals to continue supporting customers who are facing difficulty meeting payments due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The guidance comes as the government re-opens the economy after more than three months of a nationwide lockdown and part of the hospitality sector prepares to welcome customers back on 4 July.
