The Financial Conduct Authority is set to lift its ban on crypto exchange traded notes for retail investors, opening up the market to millions of novice traders.

The move would mean that the crypto ETNs could be sold to individual consumers rather than just professional investors in the UK. The FCA said that its financial promotion rules would still apply.
