Federation of European Stock Exchanges overhauls M&A code

The Federation of European Stock Exchanges (FESE) has overhauled its principles on market regulation and operation for takeovers and mergers in an attempt to bring itself up-to-date with market developments.

The principles, which were first put together in 1992, have been altered because of the increase over the past few years in M&A activity, in particular crossborder.
