Fee rise fails to flatter Fortis profits

Fortis Investments, the fund management arm of the Belgo-Dutch financial services group, recorded flat net operating profits of €33m ($43.4m) in the three months to the end of September, despite raising investment management fees by 11%.

Fortis did not provide a comparable figure for the last year, but operating profits in the second quarter of this year were €32m.
