The ongoing crisis is expected to cut 2020 earnings by an average of 44% across companies Fidelity analysts cover

More than half of Fidelity International analysts expect the companies they cover to face solvency problems over the coming 12 months, if conditions posed by the Covid-19 pandemic remain unchanged.

According to a survey of 150 Fidelity analysts worldwide, 91% expect Covid-19 will have a negative impact on earnings, up from 76% last month.
