Fidelity enters ETF market with smart beta funds

Fidelity International, the £223.7 billion asset manager, is taking its first steps into the market for exchange-traded funds.

The firm announced that two smart beta ETFs — Fidelity Global Quality Income Ucits ETF and Fidelity US Quality Income Ucits ETF — would start trading on the London Stock Exchange and Deutsche Börse today. They will track Fidelity-branded indices.
