Fidelity equities chief steps back to new role

Executive who took a high-profile role on corporate governance will move to a new public-policy adviser role at the start of next year

The chief investment officer for global equities at Fidelity International, is to step down from that role after seven years, the firm said today.

Dominic Rossi is not leaving the company, but will move to a new role as a special adviser on public policy, from January next year. In an internal memo, shared with FN, Fidelity said this would be "an active role engaging with policy makers, regulators and other key stakeholders on behalf of the business".
