Fidelity International has parted company with its head of operations in Ireland, just as it prepares to welcome hundreds of new staff to the country's capital city.

Carol Mahon, who held several roles including head of Ireland operations and client relationship management, left the £234bn investment group at the end of the year, according to a number of sources.
