Fidelity Investments, the mutual fund giant synonymous with the star stock picker, is now considering abandoning the investment process that made its managers famous, according to people familiar with the situation.

The changes under consideration at privately held Fidelity are the result of an outside consultant’s review since late last year of behaviour within the stock-picking unit, and follow reports by The Wall Street Journal of claims of sexual harassment and other misconduct there.
