Fidelity International, one of the largest fund management groups in the City, has continued its recent acquisition spree with the purchase of Legal & General Investment Management's personal investing business.

The deal comes just weeks after Fidelity announced it was acquiring Cavendish Online, adding 30,000 new customers to its £20bn personal investing platform in the UK.
