Fifth manager quits SG Asset Management

UK equities manager Gillian Lakin has left SG Asset Management as a result of a redundancy programme designed to bolster the firm's bottom line.

She is the fifth manager to leave in the past week. Other managers who have left SG as a result of its cost-saving measures are UK equities manager David Richardson; head of Japanese equities Jonathan Greig; and US equities manager Sam Mercer-Nairn. In addition, UK equities manager Adrian Gosden has left the firm to join retail fund manager Artemis.
