Finance’s AI job cull fears are overblown, tech leaders say

Ninety percent of City jobs will change, but many won’t be axed completely

Fears that artificial intelligence will replace vast swathes of finance jobs are overblown, according to technology leaders working with top banks.

Speaking on a City Week panel moderated by Financial News, experts predicted that 90% of City jobs will change thanks to AI, but won’t necessarily be scrapped entirely.
