Finland's HEX Group buys Sampo custody services

Helsinki-based HEX Group, which operates the Helsinki Stock Exchange, has bought a 95% stake in the custody arm of Sampo Group, one of Finland's largest insurers and pension providers.

Sampo Securities Services will continue to operate as a separate unit, falling under the existing HEX Securities Services banner. Neither parties used external advisers in the deal and would not disclose the price tag on the purchase.
