Independent broker finnCap has hired four people to its corporate finance and research teams. Julian Blunt and Grant Bergman join the corporate finance team, while Guy Hewett and Mark Heyhoe join the research team. Blunt joins as a corporate finance director, having previously worked at Peel Hunt where he was a director in corporate finance. Bergman joins as an associate director having previously worked at Investec Securities. Hewett, a qualified accountant, joins from Espirito Santo as a support services analyst. Heyhoe meanwhile joins from Fox-Davies where he worked as an equity analyst specialising in mining industry. Sam Smith, chief executive of finnCap, said the company is having a good year and continues to hire, as it has done for the past 18 months.
