Fintechs told to target bank clients in chase for sales

Targeting the clients of banks could be the best strategy for young fintech companies ultimately looking to seal potentially lucrative contracts with the JP Morgans of finance.

That was the message at an FN breakfast briefing in London this morning, where heads of four leading fintech firms told an audience that startups shouldn't be discouraged about being unable make sales to big banks straight away.
