A fledgling pay adviser has hired a former remuneration expert at one of the market’s most established consultants, as UK PLCs seek to avoid future shareholder revolts over executive pay.

FIT Remuneration Consultants, established in 2011, has hired Rob Burdett, a former senior principal with Hewitt New Bridge Street, one of the largest pay consultants in the UK. FIT is led by managing partner John Lee, previously also a principal at Hewitt New Bridge Street.
