Fitch downgrades Clearstream

Fitch has downgraded the credit rating of Clearstream, the clearing and settlement provider owned by Deutsche Börse, in the wake of the German exchange abandoning its bid for the London Stock Exchange.

The agency has downgraded one notch to AA grade and threatened further cuts by keeping the rating watch on negative.
