Fitch, the ratings agency, has opened a subsidiary in Poland to offer international and domestic ratings to Polish entities.

Fitch Polska, formerly known as the Central European Rating Agency, will give Polish institutions easier access to sources of funding when Poland joins the European Union, the agency said.
