Fitch, the international credit rating agency, has promoted Edward Eyerman to head of European leveraged finance after Rachel Hardee, former head of the team, moved to Hong Kong to run Fitch's Asia-Pacific structured credit group.

Eyerman is a former investment banker who spent four years in the acquisition and leveraged finance and telecoms groups at Credit Suisse First Boston before leaving for Fitch in April 2002.
