The political crisis gripping Ukraine is putting the country's credit rating at increasing risk, Fitch, the international credit rating agency has warned.

Fitch, which rates Ukraine B plus with a stable outlook, said today it was closely monitoring the events unfolding around the disputed outcome of last week's presidential elections. It said the chances of a downgrade are now higher than before the elections.
