Trade body hires a former FSA superviser as new regulations are being drawn up for the derivatives industry

The Futures and Options Association has hired a former Financial Services Authority superviser, as trade associations beef up their regulatory expertise ahead of an impending onslaught of new derivatives rules.

Blake Stephenson, a qualified solicitor who was most recently a senior associate in the exchange supervision team at the FSA, joins the FOA on Monday as manager of regulation.
