Axa Investment Managers has followed the lead of Henderson Global Investors in choosing a coin theme for its sponsored cow in the CowParade charity alternative art event, which has seen more than 150 life-sized fibreglass cows placed at various locations around London.

While Henderson's "Miss Mooneypenney" was covered with real British two pence coins, the more pan-European Axa has opted for painting euros on its purple "Cash Cow", which is now grazing in the appropriately moneyed precincts of South Molton Street in London's West End.
