Citigroup has named Jim Forese head of global equities, replacing Robert DiFazio and Arthur Hyde who have left the bank.

Forese has spent 18 years at Citigroup and was most recently head of emerging markets local finance. He originally joined Salomon Brothers in 1985 on the fixed income syndicate desk, and became head of that business in 1992.
