Forex probe alleges rival traders shared customer charges on trades

Chatroom messages allegedly discuss sensitive information

The global investigation into the foreign-exchange market has unearthed evidence allegedly showing senior currency traders at competing banks discussed how much they would charge customers, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Traders from rival banks apparently discussed the sensitive information about their clients in electronic chatroom messages, said the person, who has knowledge of the transcripts.
