A former corporate governance head at Aviva Investors has assumed a new role at the biggest US proxy firm that will see her run its global research teams, offering vote recommendations for shareholders, and lead a group that shapes its proxy voting policies.
Georgina Marshall, who spent a decade at £246 billion UK fund manager Aviva Investors before joining Institutional Shareholder Services in 2012, was most recently head of research in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and deputy director of research globally. She will step up to run global research on September 1, ISS said in a statement on Monday.
