A former credit strategist at Brevan Howard is standing for public office at the England council elections in May, as he takes a break from the City after almost 20 years in finance.

Viktor Hjort, who worked for Brevan Howard between July 2015 and late last year, is to stand in the London Borough of Camden, representing the Liberal Democrats in the Kentish Town seat.
