Andrew Feldman, the former Conservative party chairman who resigned shortly after Britain voted to leave the European Union, has taken up a senior advisory role at buyout firm TowerBrook Capital Partners.

Lord Feldman - a member of the UK House of Lords and co-chair of the UK's Conservative Party between May 2010 and May 2015 and party chairman between May 2015 and July 2016 - joined the firm in September, a spokeswoman confirmed.
