Former Deutsche Bank executive appointed chief risk officer at LSEG

Balbir Bakhshi will start his new role on 25 January next year, replacing Diane Côté who is retiring

The London Stock Exchange Group has appointed former Deutsche Bank executive Balbir Bakhshi as chief risk officer.

Bakhshi, who will also sit on the executive committee, will report to David Schwimmer, the chief executive. The former group head of non-financial risk management at Deutsche Bank, a position he has been in since January 2017, will start his new role on 25 January 2021, succeeding Diane Côté.
