Ex-Greek regulator returns to Isda

George Handjinicolaou re-joins the trade body as it consults members on its credit derivatives definitions framework

The International Swaps and Derivatives Association, a trade body representing the over-the-counter derivatives industry, has re-hired its former deputy chief executive and chief representative for Europe, two years after he left the same post.

George Handjinicolaou will be based in Isda's London office. His appointment is effective immediately. He left his post as deputy chief executive in May 2009 to join the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, the Greek markets regulator, as vice-chairman.
