John Flint, the former chief executive of HSBC, has said that he is ready for “new adventures” around a year after being ousted from the top job at the UK lender.
Flint, whose surprise departure from HSBC was announced on 5 August last year after just 18 months in the chief executive position, said he was “forever grateful” for his time at the UK lender, but that a year after leaving and completing his so-called gardening leave it is “time for new adventures”.
