Haroun van Hövell, a former KKR managing director, has set up a new London-based investment firm targeting oil and gas deals, FN's sister publication Private Equity News reports.

In his most recent role, Van Hövell was head of energy for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at the US buyout giant.
