Private equity’s push into the professional services sector is set to ramp up another notch, as KPMG UK’s former chief operating officer puts his new firm up for sale, according to reports.

Boutique adviser Continuum is working on a potential £1bn valuation for Sumer, a consolidator of small accountancy practices that was co-founded by Warren Mead in 2022, the Financial Times reported.
