Former LCH.Clearnet boss departs MF Global

The former head of European clearer LCH.Clearnet has left MF Global, the world’s biggest futures and options broker spun off from hedge fund Man Group last year, just over a year after joining the broker as its head of strategic market development.

David Hardy, the chief executive at LCH.Clearnet for 19 years before leaving the clearing house in July 2006, joined the brokerage operations of UK-listed alternative asset manager Man Group as head of strategic market development in February last year, before it was floated as MF Global on the New York Stock Exchange the following July.
