A former senior banker who is suing Merrill Lynch for £7.5m (€11m) was undermined and pushed "out of the loop' by her male bosses, a tribunal was told on Tuesday.

Stephanie Villalba, who is claiming sexual discrimination, unfair dismissal and unequal pay, alleges she was eventually forced out of the firm.
