David Hughson, the former deputy chief executive and head of sales and marketing at Royal London Asset Management, who was made redundant in January this year, has resurfaced at Blacket Research, the fledgling pension fund risk measurement consultancy.

Hughson, who had held the number two spot at Royal London since 2001, will take up a role as a business development consultant.
