Steven Kotler, the former head of Schroder & Co, the US investment banking division of Schroders, who left the firm after a power struggle last year, has resurfaced at Gilbert Global Equity Partners.

Kotler had been at Schroders for 25 years before his departure last year. It is understood that he was involved in a clash over strategy for the US investment banking business.
