William Hill, former property director at Schroders, has become a director of boutique real estate manager Mayfair Capital Investment Management which manages funds investing in commercial property and London residential debt.

A spokesman said Hill would play an active role in advising Mayfair as a non-executive director. His plan is to take up additional roles over time. Hill, who qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1985, joined Schroders in 1989.
