Former SSgA executive leads asset manager listing

Nigel Wightman, former UK managing director at State Street Global Advisors, has secured a listing on London's junior Aim market for Titanium Asset Management.

On its debut, Titanium's market value was $170m (€127m), after raising $120m through a placing advised by Seymour Pierce and Sunrise Securities. It has signed letters of intent to acquire three US asset management businesses with combined funds of $3.5bn.
